1: Cúig – Napoleon’s Offical Music Video.  Cúig, formed in 2013, have established themselves among the most promising artists on the Irish traditional music scene. They incorporate Breton, Galician and American bluegrass tunes into their music that is already steeped in the Irish tradition, entertaining audiences throughout Ireland and further a field with their exciting and innovative sound.

2: . SignA – Memory Shithole – Live at Grand Social, Dublin. SignA are a dance feast for song lovers. They bring together acoustic guitars, electro beats, acid synthesizers and live percussions in a sound that feels familiar, yet daring and far-flung.

3: Anderson – Patterns – Live at a secret Glen Hansard show in a tenement building on Dublin’s North Great George’s Street.

4: First Aid Kit Live @ The Workman’s Club, Dublin  If their album ‘The Lion’s Roar’ suggested that they were firmly on the path to Americana, First Aid Kit‘s March 2012 show at the Workman’s Club saw them take the full plunge.

The track ‘Emmylou’ displays those influences more than most, a tribute to the great artists who have informed the Swedish duo’s sound.
